Katalina Diller, Piano

Katalina Diller is from Manassas, Virginia. She began studying piano at the age of 5 and studied music throughout her childhood. She started teaching piano her junior year of high school, and continued to teach in each place she lived. When deciding what to study in college Katalina wanted to prioritize her love for music and her interest in psychology. She found the field of music therapy and quickly realized this was what she wanted to study. Katalina attended Shenandoah University and got a degree in Music Therapy and a Performance Certificate in classical piano. During her last semester of college she completed a music therapy internship at a hospice company in Tampa, Florida. There she worked with older adults using music to improve their quality of life. Katalina is excited about starting her career as a musician, music educator, and music therapist.
