About Opal Music Studio
Opal Music Studio is a family of music enthusiasts from the earliest beginners to experienced performers, and of all ages. We offer a nurturing environment for musicians at any level with lessons, classes and events catered to their growth.
Private Lessons
Opal Music Studio offers 30, 45 and 60 minute lessons on a variety of instruments and in a variety of styles. All of our teachers are wonderful at incorporating a wide range of styles, and fantastic at motivating students of all backgrounds and interests.
The Opal community is designed to bring kids together for more than weekly lessons and practicing; we strive to get our students up and performing in front of each other often, and to offer events and activities that highlight the connections between music and art.
Students at Opal Music Studio participate in recitals, masterclasses, and student achievement juries, as well as social activities like Music Game Nights and themed concerts, bringing all of our studios together with music. Learn more
Young Musicians is a small-group class for musicians ages 3 ½ to 5 years old, designed to build a love of music and a strong musical foundation in our youngest students. Children who love music and are excited to start playing an instrument will adore this class. Our course moves students toward individual lesson readiness by including basics of piano and/or violin playing, as well as larger concepts vital to music study, like developing practicing habits and performance etiquette.
